Just in time for Hispanic Heritage Month and the Palace Theatre’s Hispanic Heritage Celebration, the Palace Theatre presents an evening of comedy with Los Angeles’ Award-winning show Hot Tamales Live and Kiki Melendez on Saturday, September 29th, at 8:00 p.m.
The critically-acclaimed Hot Tamales Live has been featured on E!, Access Hollywood, The Insider, Inside Edition, CBS, Telemundo, Univision, NY Daily News, Viva, Latina Magazine, Entertainment Studios, and much more. The show has been the “Pick of the Week” in the Los Angeles Times since February 2005 and is a Los Angeles Women’s Theater Festival Maverick Award-winner. Kiki Melendez, who co-created the show with “Desperate Housewives” Star Eva Longoria said, “The show is multicultural and we celebrate diversity. We have been successful at establishing a showcase for women but we also include talented men. All ethnic groups are represented, which makes it fresh and new. Our show is infused with sketch comedy, dancers and a host which gives it a “Latin Flavor”.
